Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and A Hopeful New Year

2021 was as unpredictable and uneven as the year-that-must-not-be-named that came before. Whilst some things have changed, others have stayed the same.

Personally, I’m grateful for my health and the health of my friends and family, and that I’ve been able to get out a bit more than I did last year.

Book-wise I finished the first draft of the first “Cauldron Trilogy” book and started the second, albeit slowly as the timeline required a lot of work. If I have an aim for next year (and I’m not fond of setting “New Years Resolutions) it will be to finish the second draft.

Blog-wise, things have gone even better than last year. I’ve had over 6.5K visits and over 4.6K visitors and have 718 followers. If you’re reading this then you’re among one or more of those groups, so thank you! I hope to keep going because, well I enjoy it. If you’re interested in seeing what I actually write, you can find out more about my ebooks over here.

I’ve no idea what next year holds. I’ll be hitting a milestone birthday and just hope to be able to make the most of my time. The last two years have both passed by in a flash and gone so slowly at times that they felt like they were going backward. I’m determined next year (and the years after that) will slow down a bit.

To finish both the blog post and the year I’ll simply say, if you’ve had some tough times, I hope it gets better. And if things have been ok, well, I hope they stay that way.

All the best, Wordlander.

  1. Happy New Year of 2022! That said, year round? I’m ‘grateful’ to read your words in my blog feed – always something to learn, enjoy or feel good about – even when the going gets tough – for me, for you, etc. 😀
