My name is Rachel aka Wordlander and I’ve been playing around with words ever since I could hold a pen. My favourite author of all time is the late, great Terry Pratchett.

I write a little bit of whatever I fancy. I do full-length novels, short stories, flash fiction and poetry. I lean towards fantasy, sci-fi and horror, but I also like to try more literary work plus some comedy usually sneaks in too. What I’m currently working on

“Away, Behind”

My current fiction project is a novel with the working title of “Away, Behind”. It’s a literary work with a speculative element, set over three timelines that all revolve around a (very) remote town. And when I have time, I like to try my hand at short story and poetry competitions.

Literary Graves book

I’m also working on a non-fiction book linked to this blog. It will feature a number of my posts about famous author’s final resting places. I know people like these so I figured why not write a book and include some more research about other writers too!
