A while back I visited Lacock Abbey. Now yes it is well known as the place where William Talbot made the earliest known surviving example of a photographic negative in 1835 but more importantly, they filmed scenes from Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone, Chamber of Secrets and Half-Blood Prince there.
There are also a number of rather lovely bookcases.
This spiffy typewriter.
And this sort of creepy nursery set up.
For a geeky, fantasy loving gal like me, it was a pretty good place to visit. But if you go, just be aware you may still find the odd wizard or two.
The wizard in the niche makes the place live up to its magical expectations.
