The Ramsay family moved to Coulden Wells dreaming of a quiet country life. But the moment they passed the village boundary, they were doomed to be part of fate.

Because Coulden Wells is not the pretty English hideaway it seems. For centuries it has been protected by a coven of witches. And they have misused their powers. Blind to the effects of their actions, they fail to see that reality itself is breaking. Mythical creatures have been drawn to the energy that leaks from its borders. And on the other side, the Howl has awoken…

After percolating the idea for many years, I’ve started planning on ‘The Cauldron Trilogy’. And boy am I planning. I’ve done a lot of research. I’ve written comprehensive character breakdowns. I’ve pinned many a character image, monster, and spell on Pinterest. And now I’m plotting like a demon. I want to plan the whole thing so I don’t get to the middle of book three and realise I should have added something back in book one.

If any of you out there have experience of writing a book series and can offer some words of advice, feel free to leave a note in the comments!
