After percolating the idea for many years, I’ve started planning on ‘The Cauldron Trilogy’. And boy am I planning. I’ve done a lot of research. I’ve written comprehensive character breakdowns. I’ve pinned many a character image, monster, and spell on Pinterest. And now I’m plotting like a demon. I want to plan the whole thing so I don’t get to the middle of book three and realise I should have added something back in book one.

I was just commenting on another blog that the agony and ecstasy of writing a series is having a brilliant idea in the middle of book two and knowing it means you have to make edits in book one and three, completely changing the trajectory of the story! I love it and dread it all at the same time, but I think writing them all first is always the right idea. Good luck!

Thanks! I know I’ve really set myself a challenge with this, doing three books with many characters. But I’m excited. The overall plan is 24 pages long though 😮
